Remember Mundell's seat goes further North and doesn't have Dumfries in it. He should be ok considering how many Tory councillors have got in throughout the DCT constituency. I do agree though that Tosh was a mistake, not much personality and little known out with the Parliamentary circles. You would have thought in this supposed hotbed of Conservatism in the Dumfries and Moffat area they could have found someone more local with a bit of personality to stand. Although Elaine Murray is not exactly strong in the personality department it has to be said.

I hope Mundell is in trouble Fred. I'd rather see a labour MP in there than Mundell given his antics.

Good result for Elaine Murray. What does this mean for the Westminster election? Is Mundell in trouble?

I can only shrug my shoulders and think that Tosh (who was a West of Scotland MSP until this election) should never have been parachuted into this electorate. It's a sad state of affairs when the party couldn't pick a local but had to get a blow in from the north!

Anybody know the list vote here? Weber Shandwick do you have them -these would be a useful addition to see where tactical voting occurs. All the best - the site has been great and thanks for providing it. Paul : )
